Just click each photo to see the image full size. I have questions about these photographs: Email Me! About the animals in the photos: Ducks: The ducks that are multicolored are called Muscovy ducks and are really not a duck at all, but their own genetic animal. Genetically, they are more like a cross between a duck and a goose. They are very personable, preferring the company of humans to the company of each other! They do not quack but make more of a hissing noise. They are extremely friendly! The white ducks are Pekins. Other birds: The bird photographs on this site are a collection of birds that visit our feeder. The little gray colored bird with a white breast is a titmouse. The yellow birds are American Goldfinchs and the tan colored bird is a female Northern Cardinal. The 'red headed woodpecker' is in fact NOT a red headed woodpecker, but a Red Breasted Woodpecker. Don't ask why they call it that, I have no idea either! The tall bird standing on the dock is a Great Heron Crane, the white peacock is just that, a white peacock that lives at the 'African Lion Safari Wildlife Refuge' in Cambridge, Ontario, and the black bird is a Birmingham Roller Pigeon. The seagull picture was taken by my mom and dad while on vacation in Alabama.
