EVANGELISM ON-LINE!!

This page is dedicated to the accumulation of helpful resources for evangelism that can be found on the Internet. It is our hope that these resources will save you time and energy rather than "surfing the net" for a particular resource. This site is not dedicated to fancy graphics or Java script. It is dedicated to making resources easier to find. If you have found a resource that has been helpful and believe it should be added to this page, please send us e-mail which includes the page site and URL. ENJOY!

DESIGNING A WEB SITE FOR YOUR CHURCH

Designing a Web Site for Your Congregation
Steve Metzger developed an excellent "How To" site with lots of advice for those interested in creating and maintaining a Web Site for their congregation. There are step by step instructions on how to create and maintain a site, along with an E-mail connection for advice. Steve created this site for a workshop on this subject for the "Making Christ Known" conference in Pittsburgh on November 22, 1997.

Web Page of the Month Contest
I highly recommend that anyone designing a web page for their congregation check out The Lutheran Magazine's Web Page of the Month contest. Look at the winners, and get ideas for your own web page. What catches your eye? What is easy to read and use? Does it work well on your browser?

ELCA Advice on Web Pages
The ELCA maintains a "How To" create a web page on their site which should be checked out as well.
